Hunt the Moon EP is Available on Bandcamp
Hunt the Moon, the latest EP from yours truly is currently available for streaming on Bandcamp. The five tunes therein are a five-fingered deathpunch to boredom, full of rock 'em sock 'em haymakers bearing the hallmarks of a group that was weened on the spirit of the late 1900's punk/college/indie rock.
In other news, there has been a shift in personnel within the ranks of the band. Back in December, Mark decided to take leave of the group and while we were sad to see him go we're excited to hear what tunes he'll be conjure in his solo endeavors. Keep your ears open for his songs, I can guarantee you're going to grok them! After a little bit of resetting our course as a three piece throughout January we got a message from Shepards's original singer/guitarist Foster about the possibility of him rejoining the band. It didn't take too long for Aaron, Adam, and I to welcome him back into the fold.
Since February, Shepards Mach 3 has been woodshedding a whole slew of new songs and we're super jazzed to make our live debut in this current line-up at this year's Somerville Porchfest on May 13th alongside Combo Combo and the Steve Walther Orchestra. Just to warn you, the drummer for all three bands is Jere (full disclosure-that's me), so that will be a...thing?
Soon after that we'll be playing the Medford Porchfest with Audrey Ryan, headband, the Steve Walther Orchestra, and Nicole Cuff of the 94's on June 3rd. It's pretty exciting to be taking part in the inaugural year for Medford Porchfest and we hope there will be many more to come!
Check the shows page for details for both Porchfests. And I'm pretty sure we might be playing some more of them this summer.
Cheers!
